Her latest film, the tween-comedy “Brie’s Bake Off Challenge,” is available to stream now on HBO Max. “Brie’s Bake Off Challenge” was inspired by Aguilar’s love of baking competition shows and her goals to make a positive, uplifting family feature film that is fun, light-hearted and diverse, and represents the kind of family film that she wants to see -- a film that reflects how she grew up in school with multiple ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations represented.

Ready… set… bake! “Brie’s Bake Off Challenge” is filled with bake sales, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, bake off challenges and so much more. The story follows Brie Hayes, an aspiring 12-year-old baker who does everything she can to win first place in her school’s annual Spring Bake Off Challenge. Brie and her BFFL Millie must practice and motivate each other in order to win. On top of the actual baking challenges, Brie faces her “archnemesis” and bully, Vanessa Weiler, who also wants to win first place. Pressures and tensions rise as the stakes get higher and Vanessa’s crush, Jody, is also competing to win. The winner of the Spring Bake Off Challenge will win a whopping $5,000 and tickets to Cosmo Land.

    • Missing Persons lead singer Dale Bozzio

Dale is the co-founder and lead singer of Missing Persons, one of the 80s most distinctive bands…musically, stylistically, and, primarily because of Dale, fashion-wise.  Check out this link to Dale’s always adventurous and creative fashion sense from over the years:  https://www.lethalamounts.com/magazine-index/2021/01/21/dale-bozzio-new-wave-neon-babe.

She has released her scintillating autobiography entitled Life is So Strange – Missing Persons, Frank Zappa, Prince & Beyond, through Los Angeles-based label Cleopatra Entertainment.

The book is a riotous, humorous, sexy, intimate, no-holds barred story of Bozzio’s life in and out of music.   She has absolutely no qualms about sharing stories of all aspects of her life that will amaze, titillate, impress, and endear her to those who read her fascinating life journey.  This book is the ultimate kiss and tell story!

Dale, a native of Medford, MA who lives in Los Angeles,  is available for an advance interview to talk about her new book and, of course, about her amazing career and life in and out of music.

Please let me know if interested and I’ll be happy to arrange it.

The book is a comprehensive overview of her life…from her childhood to her tales of life in the fast lane.

In the 70s, she worked at the Playboy Club in Boston and in 1975 was named Boston Playboy Club Bunny of the Year.  She wound up in L.A. and met Frank Zappa, an influential figure in her life.  Zappa cast her in his rock opera Joe’s Garage, in his film Baby Snakes and in his musical Thing-Fish.  Bozzio still speaks reverentially of Zappa for helping her launch her music career.

    • One Life To Live and Narcos Star Florencia Lozano

Today on The Caregiver Dave Celebrity Segment, Dave and Neil will interview  One Life To Live and Narcos Star Florencia Lozano.

Florencia Lozano (Narcos, One Life to Live), who is starring in “Life After You,” an independent feature to be released on April 5 on Pay-Per-View, Video On Demand, and other Major Platforms. The film centers around a suburban family's struggle with the death of their 19-year-old son, following an overdose of heroin that was laced with fentanyl.

"Life After You" explores the questions of who and what is responsible for this tragedy and follows their journey to answer these questions as their family unravels from grief, guilt, and anger. The film is inspired by the book, “Life After You: What Your Death From Drugs Leaves Behind” by Linda Lajterman.

Florencia Lozano, along with Sarah T. Schwab, wrote the screenplay to shine a light on the opioid crisis that is on the rise in our country and killing so many individuals. In 2019, nearly 50,000 people in the U.S. died from opioid-involved overdoses. The misuse of and addiction to opioids—including prescription pain relievers, heroin, and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl—is a serious national crisis that affects public health as well as social and economic welfare. "Life After You" will hopefully spark a much-needed dialogue among parents, teenagers, and officials who are in a position to make a difference.

    • SINGER, SONGWRITER AND SOFT ROCK ICON LOBO

Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil will interview SINGER, SONGWRITER AND SOFT ROCK ICON LOBO.

Lobo releases two Christmas tracks today, written for the parents and grandparents around the world as they celebrate the holiday season.  Originally available only in Europe, “Late Christmas Eve” and “A Big Kid’s Christmas” are now on all major streaming services as an EP via Time Life.

“The holidays are special for everyone, from kids on up through grandparents, so I wanted to write something a little different: songs from an adult’s point of view that tell the story of how a lot of us see Christmas,” Kent LaVoie (who records as Lobo) explains. “’A Big Kid’s Christmas’ is about grandma and grandpa and what Christmas means to them after all these years together. And ‘Late Christmas Eve’ reflects that moment when you and your spouse have finished putting all the presents out for the kids, it’s 11 o’clock and you’re worn out but swept up in the emotion of it all, cherishing that tonight’s all ours and tomorrow is theirs.”

LaVoie co-wrote the tracks with longtime collaborator Billy Aerts. “Christmas songs, to us, are wonderful in every possible way and we’re both just so proud of these songs,” he continues. “There’s so much true emotion in these songs that I think a lot of people will be able to relate to. And they were incredibly fun to make, too!”
