Today on The Total Media Network's Caregiver Dave Celebrity Segment, Dave and Neil Haley will interview Tim Russ of Star Trek.

Actor Garrett Wang, best known as Ensign Harry Kim from Star Trek: Voyager, will join Tim Russ from Star Trek: Voyager and Peter Macon from The Orville for Escape Velocity Extra (EVX) as the online program takes a comprehensive look at race and resistance in science fiction.

Scheduled for Wednesday evening, August 26, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET, Wang will bring an Asian-American perspective to the second session of the program which is entitled Policing Blackness: Incarceration, Resistance, and Respectability Politics.

Escape Velocity Extra is an ongoing program of the Museum of Science Fiction, a virtual, non-profit Washington, D.C. based organization that uses sci-fi popular culture to drive public interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The opening hour-long session, moderated by Aisha Matthews, Managing Editor, Journal of Science Fiction will feature a frank discussion on policing, respectability politics, and liberation in science and speculative fiction literature, film, and popular culture with authors and educators Isiah Lavendar III, andré carrington, Lisa Yaszek and De Witt Kllgore.

Wang, Russ and Macon will participate in the second hour-long session.

Session #1 is open to the public and free of charge. Session #2 requires a $5 tax deductible donation to the Museum. Russ, Wang and Macon will be available for paid one-on-one fan engagements following the program.

Today on The Caregiver Dave Celebrity Segment, Dave and Neil Haley will interview Tamela D’Amico of One Little Finger.

Tamela D’Amico stars in the Indian-American film One Little Finger, streaming on Amazon and Apple worldwide. She plays ‘Raina,’ an American neurologist researching music therapy in India. The film employed more than 80 people with disabilities, many of those being student musicians, and the title track “One Little Finger” is currently being considered for a Grammy. The purpose of the film is to educate people about the abilities of those with disabilities, and all money earned is going straight into the One Little Finger Foundation.

Tamela is best known for her role on Disney’s “Best Friends Whenever” and Amazon’s “Englishman in L.A.” (for which she was awarded “Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Web Series” by LA WEB FEST). She is also a jazz recording artist and her music has been heard on more than 140 national radio and cable outlets. She sings the theme song “Love and the Gun” in both English and Italian for the film, Rob the Mob. Besides her work in the film and music industries, Tamela is also a brand ambassador and content creator to many International brands.

Faith Schueler at just 19-years old just this week was named Rising Nashville Star by both Medium and Authority Magazine. Faith released her most recent single "March On Girl" on November 16th. Recorded and produced in Nashville by Greg Bieck and Kris Bergsnesit it features Country Music Hall of Fame member Marcus Hummon on strings.

Faith as a country artist, singer, and songwriter shares her own, original sound through her music and vocal presentation. Born and raised in South Carolina, Schueler digs deep into her roots by creating original music with a pop/country and soul twist.

In 2018, Faith Schueler released her first single “Who Holds Your Heart”. Since then, Schueler has released her single “Ain’t Even Got a Clue” as well as her new EP, “One Love Song at a Time”. Schueler has written and recorded with some of the most well known writers, and producers in Charleston and Nashville such as Elsey Elliott, Greg Bieck, Kris Bergsnes, and Jordan Lawhead. Faith Schueler plans to continue down her path towards her country music dream. Schueler hopes to inspire others and touch lives through her music. Faith Schueler holds on to her strong Christian faith as well as her undeniable passion and love for music.

is an American retired professional basketball player, college football Heisman Trophy winner and Davey O'Brien Award winner and a National Basketball Association (NBA) player.

He won the College Football National Championship with the Florida State Seminoles in 1993. Despite his NCAA football success, Ward is one of the very few players who won a Heisman Trophy but was not drafted in the NFL draft.

Ward played for nine years with the New York Knicks and started in the 1999 NBA Finals. He later had short spells with the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets, before retiring in 2005. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Shamrock was the first to hold the UFC Middleweight Championship (later renamed the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship) and retired a four-time defending undefeated champion. Shamrock was the No. 1 ranked pound for pound UFC fighter in the world during his reign as the UFC Middleweight Champion.[2] Shamrock has won numerous titles in other martial arts organizations, including the interim King of Pancrase title, the WEC Light Heavyweight Championship and the Strikeforce Middleweight Championship.
