Candace Cameron of Full House, John Goodman of Roseanne, and Matthew Lawrence of Blossom—stars who have divulged some of the dark secrets in Hollywood. For many, these names represent the golden age of wholesome ’90s television—family values, life lessons, and laughter that seemed safe to bring into our homes. But what if the story behind the scenes wasn’t so wholesome? What if some of the very people shaping that culture were navigating environments filled with pressure, compromise, and even darkness—stories of invitations to immoral parties, open admissions of dabbling in the occult, and young actors being marginalized for refusing to conform? While there are plenty like Candace Cameron or Matthew Lawrence who have come out to explain how they resisted the temptation to give in to the satanic environment around them, plenty of others felt the necessity to bend to the will of the perpetrators and are now dealing with much of the ripple effect in their own lives. What we want to do is peel back the layers and begin to see that the “morality” presented in many of these shows wasn’t neutral—it was subtly reshaping values in ways that stand in direct opposition to Christ. And now, looking back, the question isn’t just what we were watching, but who was influencing it—and why?
