According to a report by the Boston Globe, point guard Terry Rozier will not be coming to an agreement on a contract extension before Monday's deadline.

Rozier can still sign a qualifying offer next summer, and the Celtics will likely have the chance to match any free-agent offer he receives.

Marcus Smart was fined $25,000 by the NBA for his role in the preseason altercation with Cleveland Cavaliers forward JR Smith. Smart was just relieved there was not a suspension.
