The Wizards should show little fear of the Celtics if the two squads meet in the postseason, which is now far more likely given Washington's 113-101 win in the second-to-last game of the regular season.

Boston got 27 points from Jaylen Brown, but next to nothing from anybody else. On the flip-side, John Wall appears to be hitting his stride after missing several weeks with an injury, and the Wizards could be cruising for a 2-7 upset in round one.

Tonight could be the first of eight games against the Wizards in the next couple weeks. The regular season ends in two days and there are multiple scenarios that could play out, 16 to be exact. The Wizards are looking to get out from the No. 8 seed and to the seventh spot for a first-round match up with the wounded Celtics. Be careful what you wish for Washington. Marcus Smart could rejoin the Celtics come the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Boston has set their fate with the second seed, but the question of who they'll face in the first round is still entirely up in the air. Without Gordon Hayward & Kyrie Irving, Boston will need third year guard, Terry Rozier to step up in a major way come the Postseason. Wizards eye a victory against Boston on Tuesday night as the regular season comes to a close.

The Celtics will look to end their two-game skid tonight as they’ll be taking on the Chicago Bulls at the TD Garden. They'll be without Al Horford and Jayson Tatum, who both have the night off for rest.

The Celtics officially announced the signing of former Dallas Maverick guard Jonathan Gibson. Gibson most recently played for the Qingdao Double Star Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association.
