In Kyiv and several other cities across Ukraine, 25 July marks the tenth day of protests over the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov as Defence Minister.

On the night of 25 July, explosions and fires were reported in Engels, Rostov, Belgorod and occupied Luhansk following drone attacks. Fires were recorded near a military airfield, logistics facilities and energy infrastructure.

In Poland, representatives of the heirs of Prince Andrzej Lubomirski are seeking a court order to block the return to Ukraine of paintings that were evacuated to Poland from Lviv following the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.

On Saturday, 25 July, a Day of Mourning was declared in the Kyiv region for the victims of the Russian missile attack.

Ukrainian intelligence and the intelligence services of partner countries have information indicating that Russia has prepared missiles for a new large-scale strike on Ukraine.

On the evening of Friday, 24 July, protests against Mykhailo Fedorov’s dismissal as defence minister continued for the ninth day in several Ukrainian cities.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to sign a peace agreement with Russia in the Oval Office or at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the civilian facility in the Kyiv region struck by the enemy on 24 July does not fall under the authority of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

During the day on 24 July, the Russian invaders launched three ballistic missiles at the Kyiv region. Air defence forces intercepted one target.

Criminal proceedings have been opened over the possible improper performance of official duties in the organisation and conduct of an event that resulted in deaths in the Kyiv region.
