US President Donald Trump believes that Ukraine and Russia have moved closer to settling the war after talks in Abu Dhabi mediated by the United States.

Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov, who is part of the Ukrainian delegation at trilateral talks between Ukraine, Russia and the United States in Abu Dhabi, has made his first statement on the outcome of the February 4-5 consultations.

As part of the prisoner exchange, Ukraine returned 157 soldiers and civilians. Most of them had been in captivity since 2022.

Trilateral talks between delegations from Ukraine, the US, and Russia in the UAE have ended.
