Have you ever struggled with accepting the forgiveness and grace of God? We so often are much harder on ourselves than we need to be. God’s plan for restoration is so simple yet difficult to accept. But we can practice accepting our Lord’s love and forgiveness until it becomes easier for us. In Psalm 51, King David cries out for forgiveness and restoration as a model for us in the 21st century. Freedom comes directly from confession, repentance, and acceptance of God’s unconditional love and redemption. This Sunday we’ll go deeper with this Psalm to gain peace and confidence that maybe you’ve never experienced.
