There are many things in life we have to wait for, but salvation is not one of them. Salvation and the forgiveness of our sins, along with victory, power, and being in a relationship with God, are all available to us right here and now.

Sometimes God calls on us to wait patiently for His timing, but there are other times where God calls us to actively wait for His timing, doing the next thing we can do in our power and then trusting God to do everything else in His power.

In a time where everything is pretty much instant, we lose patience, but God sometimes tells us to wait for the answer. We look at enjoying the journey of waiting instead of just jumping to the destination.

Life can be scary. Multiple times in the Bible though, God tells us to "Fear Not". This isn't because there isn't something to be afraid of, but because God is greater than all our fears. When we are faced with two fears, the thing we are scared of more is the fear that will dominate our lives. What if the thing that we feared the most was God, and therefore had no reason to fear any other fear.

We have two choices, walk in faith, or let fear hold us back. For Peter, he stepped out of the boat to walk on water because of his faith in Jesus. The other disciples stayed in the boat for fear. Are we allowing comfort or fear to hold us back from fulfilling what God is calling us to do?

Life sometimes hits us hard and we are left speechless. Zephaniah 3:17 tells us that "God comforts us with His love".

Zephaniah 3:17 tells us that the "Lord is mighty to save". God is a warrior, and He is on our side. If God is with us, who can be against us? We look at what it means if God is fighting on our side.

Probably the number one question of any road trip is "Are we there yet?". The answer is that we have not reached our destination, but we strive forward holding fast to Jesus no matter what.

Most road trips consist of a means of transportation, but you also have to determine the best path. Today we see that the only way to get to where God is calling us is through Jesus Christ.

We were not called to go through this life alone. God created us to have fellowship with one another and also with Him. The question is, who are we going to invite along?
