Over the past few weeks, we have seen Paul address a series of sins that were evident especially during the corporate gatherings of the Corinthian church, always pointing them to the gospel as the solution.

As we journeyed through chapters 12 & 14, we have come to understand that the purpose and use of spiritual gifts must be for the unity of all who are in Christ, that all may be edified.

Last week we looked at our collective call as different parts of the body of Christ and learnt that the Spirit of God has bestowed gifts to all members so that we may grow together into the fullness of Christ.

Having thus seen the purpose of spiritual gifts, this week Pastor Isaac Thomas preaches ‘The Use of Spiritual Gifts’ from 1 Corinthians 14.

As we continue our study of Paul’s letter to the church at Corinth, we look forward to understanding God’s gifts of grace to build the church from chapters 12-14.

Having concluded with our series’ of summer sermons, this week we will resume our study into the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians.

Last week we looked at God’s nature and promises that assures every believer of salvation. However, though we know the end outcome, our present battle with sin often prompts us to consider how we will live up to this call to remain set apart.

This week as Pastor Isaac Thomas preaches ‘Called to Be Sanctified’ from John 21:15-19, as we look at how the blessed assurance of God’s ongoing presence that spurs us onward with hope as we press on to our goal.

As we come to the end of our short sermon series for this summer, we pray that each of us can continue to marvel at the riches of our salvation in Christ and worship him.

Pastor Isaac Thomas preaches, ‘The Assurance of our Salvation’ from Romans ⁠8:28⁠-30, as we seek to find the answer to this question in who God is and his purpose for our lives.

As we continue our short sermon series on the rich gift of salvation, we will look at the ongoing work of God in the saints to save us from sin and corruption.

As we move onto the second topic of our short sermon series, our hope is to continue to equip the church with what the Lord has truly accomplished for us on the cross.
