We must be known by who we love and what we do. This is what it means to be an embassy of heaven. Faith without good works is no real faith at all.

We must love each other not merely as we love ourselves, but as Jesus has loved us. And the love we have shared in Jesus is what is meant to bind us together. We are united together NOT because we all have the same opinions about everything. We are united by the common love we have experienced in Jesus Christ.

Psalm 150 is the culmination of the entire book. After over a hundred songs expressing the full range of human emotion, what is the conclusion? PRAISE THE LORD. Not in spite of your feelings, but in the midst of them. Offer them to God with honesty and then turn to Him in praise.

Psalm 111 is calling us to be overtaken by praise. It is aiming for us to baste in the goodness of our God, and seeing everything else as secondary to it. To have it overrun your day so that praise hums in your mind and your bones. So that it impacts your decisions, your conversations, your driving, your business, how you put socks on a two-year-old, and how you face another day.

Psalm 107 gives us the account of the divine rescue

experienced by the Israelites while in exile recalling their divine rescue, leads them toward thanksgiving and praise.

David, through Psalm 27, challenges us in what we see when we view God in our lives. David will help us to see God and to grow in our knowledge of God as the truly powerful, loving, sovereign, and majestic God that He truly is.
