Center Point Assembly

Pastor Mike continues in the study of the book of 1 Peter focusing on what it means to live a consistent lifestyle before the world in humbleness and brokenness so that Jesus is glorified. Peter gives us the instruction that we are to be ready to give an answer to why we're different. The question is, are we consistent in our daily lives so that we really are different from the world so that they see it? In reality, if we're not living in such lifestyle so that the world see's it as different, then neither does Jesus, and that's not a good thing --- eternally speaking... Today is the day to start a new life of being called to be consistent...

Pastor Mike remains in the study on 1 Peter and we discuss what it means to "Love people in Spite of..." all the things they are doing that seem so unlovable. We are all commanded according to Peter to love people as Christ loved and still loves us. It's only as we are willing and able to submit our hearts to Christ can we love as Christ loves. In the same fashion that we are to love as God loves we are also to hate as God hates... Does that sound strange to hear that God hates? What does He hate? God hates evil, of all kinds and we as true followers and lovers of God need to learn to hate evil as He does and then love people in the same way in spite of... Listen to be challenged and encouraged...

Pastor Mike picks up on the study of 1 Peter again and continuing in the area of submission. We find that submission is the central theme of the bible and is THE key to our salvation. A rebellious person by definition cannot be considered to be a true follower of Christ as Christ was our example by being fully submitted to following the will of His Father. It's a challenge beyond all challenges, but anything of excellence would be. Listen in and allow the Holy Spirit to bring you a conviction in the area(s) of your life that need to be submitted to Christ, beginning of course in the home...

Pastor Mike is back after a couple weeks of traveling and he brings a message of great challenge to "the church" saying that God often brings interruptions to our lives with the intent of showing us areas of required course corrections. These interruptions come at unexpected times and without our approval. They are God given opportunities for mid-life course corrections, minor or major, yet important all the same. This message includes a passionate video message that challenges the people in the church and brings a great opportunity of offense if a person would so choose to take it, or they can allow the Holy Spirit to bring eternal life giving conviction... Listen in and see how you respond to the message, that will give you a good indicator of the course your on.......

Guest Speaker and former pastor Ryp Hankins continues his message from last week about what it means to live in and be drawn closer to God through living in the 'Supernatural'. God wants and intends for us to live in a state that is above the natural situations and circumstances of this world. As true followers of Christ, we have a heritage and the authority to live above the natural and into the supernatural if we would just begin to live in it. Like everything God gives to us, He gives as we are diligent seekers and persistent followers of Jesus and everything He teaches. The question for us, are we willing to live in it in order to receive it? Listen in and be encouraged and challenged...
