Center Point Assembly

Pastor Mike continues to unveil the truths given in the introduction of the first letter of Peter by continuing in the fundamentals of true Christian faith. Today, we discuss the awesome power of the Blood of Jesus and His perfect obedience making His death the only way to pay for the sins of mankind. God requires a perfect relationship and the only way we can have that is thru the complete and irreversible sacrifice of a perfect man, Jesus Christ to redeem all those that choose to accept it. Listen in for details on how that applies to all of us...

Pastor Mike continues the series on 1 Peter by stressing the importance of 'the sanctifying work of the Spirit' that Peter instructs us in the introduction of his letter. We must build fundamental upon fundamental, precept upon precept, and the most basic of Christian fundamentals is understanding what it means to live a sanctifying life by the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. We really can't even go any further until we discuss what it means to live in the process of being sanctified. So listen in and ask the Holy Spirit to make this a revelation in your life...

Pastor Mike is beginning a study on the 1st Letter of Peter to the scattered strangers and aliens in the Province of Asia Minor, which of course is also intended for each one of us today. Peter is a unique man in the history of the world to be one of Jesus closest friends while they walked together in this journey of life. And then, Peter transitioned into one of the boldest Apostles preaching and proclaiming the power of blood of Jesus. We find that Peter first learned to follow Jesus so that he could later become one of the best leaders for Jesus later in his life. There is much for us to gain in that experience alone. Join us as we take this journey through this packed letter giving us instructions and encouragement as we journey through this world as strangers and aliens...

Pastor Mike goes into great detail telling us who we are in Christ! How do you measure yourself? How does God measure you? Is there a difference? There is an immeasurable difference in how God measures us versus how we think of ourselves. As we see how much God really loves us and how much He desires a relationship with us, it will change how we think about the many things in life that in the past kept us in bondage to the things of this world. We find freedom to live for Christ in a new way... Listen in to see how God looks at you and how you can live for Him!
