Center Point Assembly

We're getting to the end of our study on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. Today we are speaking on the "Fruit of Self-Control". This is a message that is timely to the situation that we find our country in. So much unrest and social issues primarily because people are not exercising Self-Control. However, as we have discovered in all of our study on the Fruit of the Spirit, this requires a "supernatural" work of the Holy Spirit. So a person, striving to exercise these fruit on their own is living a frustrating life of repeated failures. Listen in and be challenged and encouraged to invite the power of the Hoy Spirit into you life and give Him control so that you can begin to experience self-control of the Spirit...

The reason we've been speaking about the person of the Holy Spirit for so many weeks is to build up to Pentecost Sunday. This is the day that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples and close followers of Jesus in that upper room. They were waiting for the "gift" of the Holy Spirit that Jesus told them about on a few different occasions. Most recently, Jesus instructed them ten days prior just before Jesus ascended into the clouds. So here they are, waiting for something to happen that they had no idea what it would be, but they were obedient. This is the beginning of the first day of the "Church" and it changed their lives as well as the course of history. What's important for us today is that this same Holy Spirit is desiring to give us the same experience and the same power in our lives. Listen in and here more about the amazing gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is ready to Baptize all that would receive, so invite Him in...

Staying in our series "Understanding the Holy Spirit" we are talking about the Fruit of the Spirit today, namely the Fruit of Gentleness. What I have found so interesting is that I thought the Fruit of Kindness, Goodness and Gentleness would be the quickest and easiest ones to speak about, in fact I considered lumping them all into one sermon. But I'm so glad that I didn't. If God felt them necessary to list individually, then He must have good reason, and that He did. There is so much meat in these Fruit that I encourage you to listen intently, read the scriptures and ask God to supernaturally grow the fruit of Gentleness, among the others, in your life. As you do, your relationship with God and others will deepen and grow rich...

Pastor MIke is continuing in the series of the Holy Spirit with a study today on the Fruit of Faithfulness. God is faithful above all things in life.

There is nothing more than we can count on than the faithfulness of God. As God created us in His perfect image, He is intending for us to follow in His example of Faithfulness. In fact, the act of being faithful is one of the most important characteristics we share with God. Being faithful to God and to others is the key to life. One's faithfulness either inspires another or one's un-faithfulness greatly disappoints another. Listen in today to be both encouraged by God faithfulness and to be challenged in yours...
