All of us have skills, talents, and gifts that we must use for the Kingdom. When God's people use their gifts to serve in the church, it allows the church to grow and take new ground. God's Kingdom will begin to advance in greater ways as a result of the people of God serving.

God has paid the price and desires for you to be healthy and strong. God also desires that sickness and disease would be driven out of those around us. When we act with faith and authority through the name of Jesus, we can be confident that we will see great miracles out of the goodness of God. Not only for our lives but the lives of those around us.

In Acts ch.2 we see that the early church had a deep commitment to fellowship and the Word even in the midst of persecution, difficulty and change.  Pastor Luke challenges us to deepen our commitment to the same two areas as we see God continue to work in our church. 

If we desire to go deeper and further in our relationship with God, we must have a deep hunger for Him. In order to know God more, we must deeply desire Him more than anything else.

As Christians, we cannot be reliant on our own strengths and abilities. If we rely on our own strengths and efforts, we will be powerless and ineffective in being the kind of people God wants us to be. We must be completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to walk out the fullness of what God has for us. We need the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The early church taught that Jesus died and rose again. Jesus is alive, and we must personally know this. When we live in a personal reality of His life, it will cause us to act with a sense of urgency for the things He has called us to do.
