Scott Freitag, Fire Chief of the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, completed the Executive Leaders Program at the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) on June 10. Chief Freitag has served as Fire Chief since coming to Arizona in August 2013. He and his team created the first Fire Authority in the State in 2016. The agency is the largest fire and emergency medical response organization in Yavapai County serving 365 square miles and protecting a population of over 100,000.
