Today we will look at the famous Prayer of a man named Jabez and find out why it was important enough to get special mention in the Bible.

Tozer- “In every Christian’s heart there is a cross and a throne, and the Christian is on the throne till he puts himself on the cross; if he refuses the cross he remains on the throne...We want to be saved but we insist that Christ do all the dying. No cross for us, no dethronement, no dying.  

What if each of us started praying like Isaiah and instead of praying for God to send someone else to be his spokesman prayed, "Here I am Lord, Send Me!"

Victory comes through praise. Praise activates God’s power.

A majority of our prayers need to be focused on other people and God's purpose instead of on ourselves.

The size of our God dictates the size of our miracles. We must believe that God is bigger than our problems.
