Know and proclaim the Word of God. God’s people are His messengers sent out to proclaim His message. The message of the gospel has been given through the Word of God and includes a warning of judgment and a call to come to Christ.

God empowers your witness. The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers His people to be witnesses for Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers His people as they share the greatness of God, the good news of the Gospel, and the Word of God.

You have received the Holy Spirit. This is true for every child of God. Jesus promised that He would send the Holy Spirit upon His people. Jesus kept that promise. Believers are living temples of God in the world today.

God's call to service demands our attention. God called His children to share His message of salvation with the world. God’s people are responsible for faithfully proclaiming His message and trusting God with the outcome. Many may not believe, but some will!

Wait on the Lord – His time is best. Jesus’ disciples are often called to wait on God’s guidance, timing, wisdom, and promises. Waiting teaches us about God and it gives us an opportunity to serve Him.

Let’s follow Jesus! We must follow His path, His righteousness, His pursuits, and His purposes. And then we help others follow Jesus. This is what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

Live as a witness for Jesus. God’s children are witnesses of the good news of Christ. Jesus has empowered His people to spread the gospel throughout the world. It is the privilege and duty of each believer to be a witness for the Lord.

We are part of Jesus’ continuing story and mission. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. We are products of His saving work and workers in His mission to save the lost.

Live anticipating Christ’s return. On the first Christmas, Christ came to save us from our sins. He will come again one day to take us to be with Him! Christmas reminds us to look up in hope-filled anticipation for His return.

Rejoice! Jesus came! Jesus came to take away the sins of the world! This is the message of joy God declares to all in Christmas.
