Rejoice in the Humble King! The Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem was a time of humility for our Savior. Though the crowd was celebrating what they thought was a political move, the Lord rode into Jerusalem weeping. He was prepared to go to the cross.

Do not grow weary while waiting for Jesus. We are waiting for the return of Jesus. While we wait we can be tempted to discouragement and despair for it seems as though Jesus is delaying long. In this passage Jesus gives hope and encouragement to His waiting people by calling them to prayer and by showcasing the character of God.
