We all fall short of the glory of God...who can read the standards set forth in the sermon on the mount and begin to think they come close? There is in fact only one, Jesus Christ, who measured up! No one else is perfect, and we can't expect ourselves to be. The good news is God loves us enough that he forgives each and every transgression with a heart full of love for us. Don't let the pursuit of perfection pull you down...strive for excellence and rely on His grace!

Would you consider yourself rich? Maybe you're chasing that next thing that is going to bring you "happiness"? Don't let the world fool you! Keep that focus on the Lord and you will be rich beyond measure.

Today we start a new series that examines the attractions and pitfalls of the world around us. These are the devil's tools used to pull our attention away from God! This week....fame, notoriety, and the endless pile of likes that can turn into an obsession for us if we're not careful. Always seek the Lord and He will show us the way!

Seek the Lord above all else and you will find His joy, peace, and salvation!

God is everywhere! We can always trust Him because He is always by our side.

Holy....perfect....a cut above the rest...that is the Lord our God! He is perfect in all of His ways. So perfect that when we are near Him, we begin to realize how far we fall short. The good news is he gave His Son, Jesus Christ, so that we can be forgiven! So look up, and find yourself in awe of the holiness of our God!
