On Sunday, Jamie McMillan led us into our Easter series as we entered Holy Week and unpacked the events of Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, just days before  His crucifixion. Jamie challenged us to think about the crowd who were present that day and how the way to victory in Christ is surrender to Him.

Luke 19:28-40

On Sunday, Lydia Neish continued our series in Luke's gospel as Jesus arrives in Jerusalem ahead of the events of Holy Week. We unpacked the moment that Jesus enters the Temple and grieves what He sees. Lydia reminded us that this episode is about Worship and how we are to surrender the things that are 'on our table' that aren't Jesus. We also explored how this is about Power, and how we live can change the world around us.

Luke 19:45-20:8 

On Sunday, we continued our series in Luke's Gospel. Stuart Newburn was with us, sharing on that infamous encounter between Zacchaeus and Jesus. Stuart highlighted the Person, The Encounter & Response, in an exchange that displays the wonder of the Gospel message: Jesus meets us where we are, transforms our hearts and leads us to live as people who have been changed.

Zacchaeus 19:1-10

On Sunday, Gordon Campbell shared with us again as we moved into the next part of our series in Luke's Gospel. Gordon unpacked two episodes that find Jesus engaging with His twelves disciples and then with a blind beggar. Through both of these encounters, Gordon challenged us to learn something from each of the character groupings: Learn the Lessons, Make the Switch, Answer the Question & Trust the Saviour.

Luke 18:31-43 

On Sunday, Helen Warnock continued our series as we unpacked the Parable of the Pharisee & the Tax Collector. She reminded us that Jesus is inviting us to Himself, to live a life of righteousness because of His abundant mercy.

Luke 18:9-14

On Sunday, Jamie McMillan moved us into the next part of our series as Jesus tells a parable about a widow who persisted with a judge for justice. At its core, this parable is about being persistent in prayer, and Jamie highlighted three key themes within the passage – God's nature, Widow's example & What to do with Unanswered Prayer.

Luke 18:1-8

On Sunday, our good friend Rick Hill was with us as we continued in the next part of our series in Luke's Gospel. This week, we unpacked this teaching of Jesus as He proclaimed the 'now-and-not-yet' of the Kingdom of God.  Rick encouraged us to Embrace the Kingdom Now & Expect a Future Kingdom.

Luke 17:20-37

On Sunday, Jamie McMillan continued our new series 'Meeting Jesus On The Way', as we look at the how Jesus encountered ten men with leprosy at the Samarian border and healed them. Jamie unpacked how this story critiques the logic of separation & the power of saving faith.

Luke 17:11-19 

On Sunday, Gordon Campbell launched our new series 'Meeting Jesus on the Way', as we take the next few months to explore some of the encounters that Jesus had with different people, through the lens of Luke's Gospel. Gordon challenged us as we looked at the story of the woman who broke the alabaster jar of nard over Jesus, washed His feet and anointed His head – a scandalous act of worship. The call in this series is for us to make Luke's Jesus our Jesus.

On Sunday, as we welcomed over 150 new members into the life of our church fellowship, Dave Dickinson spent some time walking us through Psalm 24 as we looked at what it means to be people who are Humble, Holy & Hungry.
