Shame happens when we identify ourselves something we've done that we deeply regret. Shame drives a wedge between us and the people we love as well as the purpose that we've been created to live for. This week, using the story of the Apostle Peter's moment of failure, D.K. reminds of Jesus' desire to forgive us and restore us.

In life it's easy to feel inadequate, under-skilled, overlooked. We all have felt that way! But the exciting news is that Jesus has invited US for a very special purpose in His Master Plan to change the world. In our culture, hurry is a virtue. The faster we go, the more we can do, the more can have. But there is a heavy cost for a life dictated by hurry, namely that we miss out on the blessings that come by waiting on and trusting in God.
