Times like these feel like a rollercoaster ride that none of us signed up for. For every good day when hope is just within our grasp, there's a bad day to follow. In part two of Grace Upon Grace, Greg takes us through the story of Peter who really makes a mess of things. Yet even in this tense situation, Jesus shows that his grace has no limits.

Many of us struggle when things don't go the way we want them to, but what happens when "I" am the reason for the mess? What happens when I am at fault? In this week's teaching, we learn that no matter what mess we've created in our lives, Jesus--like a professional first responder--is both able and willing to raise us up out of the brokenness and lead us into healing because of His Grace upon Grace for us.

How would you describe life right now? Unpredictable? Scary? Difficult? Many of us are in the same boat in our world today, and that boat is getting tossed to and fro by the storm. The factor that will make all the difference, is where we have placed our anchor. In our first online gathering, listen in as Greg walks us through a teaching about placing our entire trust in Jesus who is the anchor that will outlast the storm.

What is the Church's response supposed to look like in dark and difficult times? How do we even make an impact when things are super tough?

This week we consider Jesus' word picture os salt and light and consider what it looks like to be a people who are Present in the pain and are Pointing to the hope of God's promises.

There is no doubt in our minds of the truth found in Jesus' words, "In this world, you will have trials..." but sometimes it's easy to forget the second part, "but take heart for I have overcome the world." So how do we trust in promises of God when everything around us falls apart?

This week, Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland led our service with music, testimonies, and a message from the Executive Director of TCUP, Pastor Tim McLaughlin. In his message, we learn that only true salvation comes from Jesus, and when everything else falls apart, He is the one we can put all of our hope in.

If someone were to ask you why Church matters...what would you say?

This week we look at why Jesus thought the best vehicle to broadcast His salvation message to the world was a group of imperfect people, united under His name. Listen in and discover that it is only through a Unified & Sanctified people that God chooses to Magnify Jesus to the world.

Do you feel like you need to be right before you are right with God? In this final week of "Life on Purpose" we look at the story of a man named John. He had a clear vision of his purpose: to prepare the way for the coming of Jesus. We can learn a lot from his story, including that even when we don't have all the answers, even when we aren't our best, we can still fulfill our God-designed purpose.

Yet even as we become aware of our spiritual gifts, God did not intend for us to go it alone. Only through a diverse community of gifted people--what the Apostle Paul calls "the Body of Christ"--can we accomplish our God-given purpose.
