Hearing about the Bible is probably the best thing that will happen this fall. And that is because one of our values is that we are rooted in the Bible, but while this might seem simplistic or obvious, it is not.
Almost all Christian churches say they are based on the Bible but when things get real you find that relativism, and secularism, and pluralism, and humanism, and whatever other isms you can think of creep into the church and get easily embraced. At the same time, they all claim to be rooted in the Bible, but is that so? And why does that matter? What impact does it have on our own lives?
Today we’ll learn what it truly means to be rooted in the Bible, why we must trust Scriptures, and our responsibility, as believers, to the Word of God and our Lord’s Kingdom.
