Love is a spiritual gift to the Church

Love is only copied by the world

Love is an action directed towards others

Love is the greatest of all human attributes.

Our mission at Central Hope Church is to Be Loved and to love. To be loved by God and his people, and to love our neighbors with that same love. We must know our why in order to navigate our how. This week, let us look at what it means to love God from 1 John 4:19 and Luke 10:25-28.

Loving God is Knowing Him

We know God by observing creation

We know God particularly by Scripture

Loving God is trusting Him

Trust God with your past, present, and future

Loving God is worshiping Him.

We need it

If we don't experience the love of the church, it is difficult to experience the love of God.

We experience God's love like never before.

Practically, we can do 3 things to be loved by the church and to love the church.

Show up!

Trust the church

Forgive one another in the church.

Be loved by God because...

1: You were made for it.

2: He loves you.

Experience God's love by...

1: Prayer

2: Scripture

3: Sacrament
