God invaded earth when He sent Jesus. This invasion displays His love for us.

Simeon recognized Jesus as the Messiah, and he spoke of the hope that would come through Him.

In a time of turmoil and disarray, God sent Jesus into the world. Today in our time of turmoil and upheaval, God still gives the joy of Jesus.

The Lord Supper is a time to regather in community, remember Christ and his death, and to redirect our lives. In a season of uncertainty and disappointment, we gather at the table together to remember of God’s love and faithfulness.

Joseph shows us what genuine forgiveness looks like as he is reunited with his brothers after several years.

We are all faced with the opportunity to choose between life and death. And we will all be confronted with our sin.

Week eight in our journey with Joseph brings us to Joseph as Prime Minister of Egypt and the birth of his two sons shows us how Joseph views his past in light of his present and future.

In God’s time He fulfilled things in the life of Joseph that put him in position to change the world.

Joseph is forgotten in jail by the cupbearer, but not by God who is often working in the background to accomplish his purposes in us.

God was about the task of refining Joseph’s character so He could prepare him for a huge task. God does the same in us.
