It is important to examine yourself before you take the Lord's Supper, but it is equally important to focus on how much Christ loves you. When our focus is on Christ, the temptations and things of this world grow dim.

This initial message in this series challenges Christ-followers to prepare to move in take the land of the victorious Christian life.

God has given His children the keys to a mansion in heaven; however, as long as we are here, He has a purpose for us to fulfill. This message challenges you to live a life of purpose.

Life does not always go smoothly and work out like we would plan; however, God is still intimately involved with us.

If Jesus did not raise from the dead then those who consider themselves Christ-followers would be considered fools. There would be no promise, no purpose, and no power; however, if Jesus did raise from the dead, all is different.

Prayer is the tool that keeps us close to our Heavenly Father. How we view our Heavenly Father determines the intimacy we have with Him through prayer.

Martin Luther said, "To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing." Prayer is powerful and effective. When the church prays earnestly and specifically, amazing things happen. Lets be more than a church that prays, lets be a praying church!!!

Life is War. God has equipped us with all the weapons we need to fight, and prayer is the foundation for the deployment of these weapons. So pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers, on alert, for the Church.

Week 3 of the 40 days of prayer takes us into an uncomfortable place when life gets heavy and hard to take, but what we find there is life changing!

God rewards prayers that are sincere, and there is no need to try to impress other people. God rewards prayers that are simple, and there is no need to try to impress God.
