As we have been reminded of the power of Jesus' death and resurrection at Easter, we continue to submit ourselves to God and live in the wonderful joy of the new life he gives. This term we explore that theme through a four-part series on Joy — Jesus, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
We will explore the source of this joy, its defiance against what the world offers, the power and freedom we have and the endurance it produces in us.
