Paul brings our series to a close by looking at Peter’s restoration in John 21. After the pain of denial, Jesus meets Peter on the shore with grace, forgiveness, and a renewal of his calling. This passage reminds us that failure is never final with Jesus, and just as Peter was recommissioned, we too are invited into a renewed life of discipleship, no matter our past mistakes.

Part three in series exploring the life of Peter, this week’s message takes us into one of the most sobering and human moments in his journey, Peter’s denial of Jesus. We trace the events of that night: Peter’s bold promises, Jesus’ sobering prediction, and the crushing reality of the rooster’s crow. Yet in the midst of denial the gaze of hope is to be found.

Steve continues our series exploring the life of Peter, turning to Matthew 14, where the disciples witness Jesus walking on water — and Peter boldly steps out of the boat to meet Him. As we reflect on this powerful moment, we’re reminded that the adventure of following Jesus is marked by risk, as we step into the unknown and reach for the greatest prize of all: Jesus Himself.

Steve started our new series looking at the life of Peter, starting in Luke 5: 1-11 and the moment Peter first encountered Jesus. Peter’s journey begins not in the synagogue, but in his fishing boat, tired, empty-handed, and unaware that his life is about to change. Jesus doesn’t wait for him to be “ready” or choose him because he was the 'best". Instead He steps on to Peter’s boat at what seems to totally wrong time and invites him to come follow.

Paul wraps up our Colossians series looking at some of the Apostle Paul’s closing words, covering husbands and wives, parents and children, slaves and masters. On the surface, these verses can feel challenging, but when read in context, we’ll see how Paul is actually subverting the narrative of the Empire and calling the early church into a radically different way of living.

Steve looks at Colossians 3:1–17 and our call to live in light of our new identity in Christ by turning away from our old way of life and embracing a transformed life. Looking at Paul's metaphor of clothing to describe this change and how we are to “take off” the old self and “put on” the new self.

Tammy dives into chapter 2 in our Colossians, reminding us that we don’t need to add anything to our faith to find significance, acceptance or security, and how our identity is found in Christ alone — not in anything else.
