God doesn't want us to be self-sufficient but God-sufficient, but have we lost the holiness of the Lord in our lives? We live in an ever-changing world, which brings with it changeable norms and values. How does the church respond? The world is seemingly normalising that which God's peace can eradicate! It offers solutions that do not rid a person's anxiety, but instead teaches them how to live with it. We see, in the Word of God, how even though there are things that can give us anxiety, we should not dwell in these places. Instead, we should take up the prescription God offers that will help us overcome that which holds us down and enable us to live in peace.

When we look upon the Resurrection, disbelief can often be the narrative. Those that walked closely with Christ for three years prior, struggled to comprehend or realise that Christ was in fact alive. As we piece together the events that followed the discovery of the empty tomb, we see the disciples re-activated in their faith and declaration of the Good News that for centuries later would continue to be proclaimed!
