God knew that work was good for Adam and He knows it is good for us. The problem is that sin and man’s rebellion destroyed God’s original plan for the work we were to do. How did sin take this fulfilling plan of God’s and turn it into something that is so often unfulfilling? God is redeeming what sin had taken away. He brings purpose and meaning to what we do. Research tells us that only a third of us are satisfied and fulfilled in our work. Given that we will spend nearly 40% of our life working, it is critical for us to understand what God has to say about our work. This is the first in a series that will explore what the Scriptures teach about work.
