Its Black History Month to the world but over here it's always BLACK HISTORY. We start with shouting out people who we feel like have had an impact on our community and still do today, giving them their roses while they are here. What makes someone black is the afro the food culture or is it deeper then that, and why do people ( including our own) feel like we are a monolithic. Black comes in every shape size and mindset and our uniqiness is what makes us shine even brighter.  👩🏿‍🦱👩🏽‍🦱

James Brown had it right “it’s a man’s world”, we discuss how much of the fashion industry is controlled by man, even though women are the faces it’s still dominated by men. Making it easier for them to push their agenda of beauty on us.

We discuss white privilege and hiding behind the notion of being a POC ( person of color). Looking back at 2020 and how much we have grown, taking the moment to appreciate that.
