This is an awesome concept to apply to your budget if you feel like a budget is restrictive and doesn't give you the freedom to actually live your life the way you want.

I want to open your eyes to the fact that taking control of your finances isn't about restricting yourself and being housebound for 5 years until you save up for that property deposit. 

It is about being able to enjoy the journey. Because how can you enjoy life if you are constantly feeling guilty for spending money that should be going towards savings.

Baring in mind that they things you will give up are going to be completely different to mine.

We have never had subscriptions like Foxtel or Magazine Subscriptions. But these may be things that you consider giving up.

Don't get me wrong,  I absolutely love credit cards.
