Our Reliance Home Comfort guest of the week will be Dan Possumato. Dan is a Pittsburgh born traditional Irish (mostly) musician, composer and writer.  His new tune is composed in honour of a dear Irish friend who died in a tragic mountain climbing accident in Pakistan a few years back. He was the first Irishman to reach the summit of K2, the second highest mountain in the world and considered far more difficult and dangerous to climb than Mt. Everest. His story was covered by all the Irish newspapers at the time (2008). Singer / songwriter Ger O’Donnell is our Reliance Home Comfort guest this week, he chats to us about the new song himself and fellow writer Johnny B. Broderick wrote for Sean Keane. We play the fabulous new song from Sean called 'Wait along' and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We also celebrate Eamonn O'Loghlin's birthday through Clare music. As many of you know Eamonn stared Ceol agus Craic and was taken from us all far too soon in 2013.
