I hate selling...

I hate being sold to...

How do we then build a business, negotiate salary, deal with partners, employees and bring opportunities to the business if we dont sell?

Again, lets understand the difference at an emotional level and avoid the pitfalls of the 'new age selling process', that we all hate, except marketing companies who love to tell you how useless you are if you don't follow their system.

And then we have the self labelled 'experts', you know the ones that connect on social media. Does this sound familiar? "Hi I am _______ I would love to connect you understand your business". Now you have, let me ram a product down your throat and make you feel less that adequate or a failure if you don't use this system.

This seems to be the way all the 'experts' suggest you should approach a sale now. No wonder people hate selling, and being sold to.

It does not have to be this way, every one of my clients over the years can guarantee they have not been pushed, guilted or sold to. They enter the process, in their own time and most of the time I push them away initially, until I know they are committed and ready for the evolution. So why am I busy? results and the ability to understand the clients needs, how the they internally process and how to talk to them at their level.

The mind has 17 Fundamentals that are like rules or laws as to why we do what we do and think the way we do. These fundamentals are always operating at the deep unconscious level and can not be altered. One of which is #3 Fundamental, 'Everything we do is for a beneficial reason'. Based on that, we have to understand the reason many of us don't take action when we should..

Why do some people just take action and others spend endless hours planning?

How do some very successful entrepreneurs not have business plans? One I follow said, 'It limits spontaneous decisions and action'

Planning is essential for business growth, but is it ALWAYS a good thing?

Humans are not generic. Running a business is all about understanding the dynamic of teams and individuals within those teams. We can't assume that one method of doing something to grow our business is going to work with all our team.

Here is an example. If your business has employees then you can guarantee that not every employee will not think and act the same. When implementing a new strategy in a business, business planning can be a useful tool to achieve direction and accountability. However, to an over thinker or perfectionist, planning can have an adverse effect.
