You are soon to hear a narrative you have not heard before. It is not that the truth of it isn’t there already on the written page – or that it hasn’t been seen and read before, but now let us use our eyes to see and our ears to hear the narrative in an entirely new light.
Join Stephen Pidgeon with panelists John Barr, and from Jerusalem, Lisa Marie, as we discuss the seed of the promise.
In the creation narrative of Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 1, it seems the possibilities are endless. When we read in both Yahudah (Jude) and Chanoch (Enoch) that the angels left their first estate, one wonders where their first estate might have been. Is it possible it too was on the earth? Was there a civilization which preceded the recreation of the heavens and the earth? Was the earth brought to ruin by an unknown cataclysm before Noach’s flood? Was man created to “replenish” the earth?
On the Dig, we will discuss these things and the idea that something may have preceded the narrative we find at the outset of Genesis and will take a look at scripture to support this notion. Join Stephen Pidgeon with guests John Barr and Chelle Wagner to discuss this even further.
The Dig is a new format which will allow us to dig in to scriptural research in the hopes of finding those hidden truths which have been buried for so many years - yet they are staring right back in our face should we look closely.
Join Stephen Pidgeon with a panel of commentators including this week Chelle Wagner and John Barr as they discuss the controversial verses of Bere'shiyth 6:1 - 6:4.
