Cesarean radical hysterectomy is a rare surgical procedure and associated with increased risk of perioperative complication compared to open radical hysterectomy, particularly for hemorrhage.

Dr. Koji Matsuo is Associate Professor and Chief of the Oncology Research in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at University of Southern California. Koji Matsuo, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Matsuo’s research focuses on outcomes research in gynecologic malignancies.
