Suez Canal Authority chairman Osama Rabie has said that the crew were permitted to disembark and return home to India.  The authorities granted permission based on the recommendation of the ship owner which reportedly informed that the two seafarers had some personal emergencies back home. There are 25 Indian crew aboard the ship which is now at The Great Bitter Lake in Egypt.

In a joint intelligence-based operation with ATS Gujarat, a Pakistani boat ‘NUH’ has been apprehended by Indian Coast Guard (ICG) off Jakhau, Gujarat with 30 kgs of heroin worth Rs 300 cr in the international market.

Cyber crime police of Rachakonda police commissionerate  in Telangana arrested a Nigerian national  in Delhi for making friends on social media platforms and duping  victims in the guise of sending them gift parcels. The police under the guidance of Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat have arrested Albert Emeka Christopher and seized five mobile phones, 13 cheque books of different bank accounts, nine ATM and Debit cards and his passport.
