Brett is out today and has Chad Adams filling in; Adams kicks off the program by talking about the North Carolina Governors race and why Josh Stein struggles to connect with rural North Carolinians. Adams also raises the issue of Stein, who is Jewish, has yet to weigh in on any of the campus protests we see across the country that are calling for "death to Israel." 

Later in the show Adams discusses how politicians utilize emotionally charged language to manipulate the public into supporting their plans. This can be anything from a deceptively titled bill such as the "Patriot Act," to the way they talk about things and how it is packaged and sold to society.
