In the First Hour, Chad and Nate react to the passing of John Madden and Chad shares some personal stories how John Madden inspired him as a Broadcaster. The guys take a look at some teams that may be along with the Broncos in their own search for a new HC and how appealing of a destination are the Broncos currently for a new Coach. Chad and Nate discuss the challenge for the new Owner how they will handle the old traditions of the Broncos and if they don’t will it rub fans the wrong way.

In the Second Hour, Chad and Nate discuss which qualities are important the new Head Coach for the Broncos holds as his own and what the Broncos need in a Head Coach to turn a corner. Chad and Nate review the NFL’s new COVID protocols and what it means for the rest of the Season. Lastly, the guys discuss how important it is for the Broncos to finish out the rest of the Season strong as it’s assumed that the team will be heading in a new direction after the Season is over.

In the First Hour, Chad recaps his call for the Chiefs-Steelers game and why the Broncos are a team that trends towards how the Steelers played on Sunday let alone anything like how the Chiefs play. Chad and Nate discuss who on the Broncos have failed to meet expectations this Season and what the reason their play has be inconsistent may be. The guys react to Fangio’s comments that he absolutely believes he and his Coaching Staff deserve to return for another Season and discuss Coaches scripting plays in practice to make their favored side of the ball look productive but it is in fact harmful to the team when they go to play on Sunday.

The guys discuss if George Paton should take advantage of the new rule that the NFL has passed that teams with Head Coaching vacancies can start interviewing potential candidates and how much is factored in the decision that the Broncos are pending a new Owner in 2022.

Nate Jackson is joined by John Davis on Reaction Monday. Nate and John give their reaction on yesterday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. John believes that the product on the field is a symptom of a bigger problem with the team instead of the problem itself. They discuss if the defense is enough to justify retaining Vic Fangio. They wonder if the QB change is causing the drops from the receivers. They are joined by our 9news Broncos insider Mike Klis to discuss the possibility of a coaching change. He thinks that the Broncos won’t move on from Fangio in-season. He questions the Broncos’ mental fortitude. He also believes that Teddy will be cleared, but Lock will get the start against the Chargers.

Nate thinks the Broncos could be convinced to keep Fangio and his staff after this season but John thinks the Broncos should know what they’re going to do with them by now.
