Our special guest for this week's chai time hails from the infamous Atlanta region of Georgia, Alexa “Lexy” Dantzler, a third-year medical student at the Emory School of Medicine. Alexa started her journey at Emory University, where she graduated with a double major in Biology and African Studies. Aside from excelling in academics, Alexa helps metro Atlanta High School students connect with research laboratories, as the founder of SOAR, to bridge the gap and bring representation in STEM education. On this week's episode, we had the honor of welcoming Dr. Matthew Berchuck to our podcast. Dr. Berchuck attended the Case Western Reserve Medical School in the 1980’s. After years working in Alabama and then Baylor University in Dallas, he is now the Chief of Spine and Scoliosis Service from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stony Brook Medicine. Come join as we talk to Berchuck about how medicine has evolved through the years and how it will evolve further into the future!

This week we have our chai time with Dr. Jaffer Ahmad, a Second year Internal Medicine Resident over at the Nassau University Medical Center.
