Your happiness is not just the average of the 5 people you spend your time with. Because those just might be work people you don’t truly value. It’s the average of your 5 closest friends.

At some point the armor you’ve accumulated weighs you down instead of protecting you. Are you lucky enough to have someone who can help you take it off when it no longer serves you?

Do you want to focus (one thing) or be focused (intentional boundaries)?

Do you have toxic leaders within your organization? If so, what are you doing about it?

Without clear roles and responsibilities, you can have a “too helpful team” - they want everyone to succeed so much that they duplicate efforts and spin their wheels trying to make sure the work gets done.

For most challenges in our lives, there was likely a time where we wished to be exactly where we are today. And we knew at that time that it would not be all sunshine and lollipops, but we felt confident that being there would be worth it. Let’s use that lens to shift our days.
