As part of the Liturgy of the Hours, we have reached the time of day when we are going to bed, not getting ready for the next day, watching the nightly news, or whatever we have been doing as part of our nightly routine. This is a deliberate moment where we turn everything off and prepare to get into bed to get a good night’s sleep. This prayer is deliberately designed to help with that process.
