Fear and anxiety does not come from God. Pastor Nolan breaks down Colossians 3:1-15. "Let the peace of Christ rule your hearts." When unchecked, fear and anxiety will wreak havoc in your life. Here are 6 points to remember:

1. Recognize that the Prince of Peace has already overcome fear.

2. Jesus understands your fears and hears your prayers.

3. Make Jesus your only rock - He is stronger than your circumstances anyways.

4. Believe that Jesus is with you in the storm.

5. Focus on what God is doing and wants to do in your life.

6. Let go and learn to trust in God's power and promises.

Did you know 100 years ago the song "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" was written? When Peter stepped out of the boat he had his eyes focused on Jesus and began to walk on water. As soon as he turned his focus onto the winds and waves he began to sink. Check out Hebrews 12:1-2.

"What controls your attention, controls your life."

Michael brought a powerful now word! Here are our notes from today’s message “Keep Your Dream Alive”:

1. Identity - When you’re adopted you’re chosen. Read Ephesians 1:4-7.

2. Choose your circle wisely - Be wise with who you do life with and share your dreams with. Read Proverbs 12:26.

3. Be prepared, not perfect - “Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

4. Step out of the boat - You have to be moved to enter the promise land. Read Hebrews 11:6.

5. Intimacy with Jesus - We can’t experience intimacy with Jesus until we realize our identity as a son/daughter. Our dreams originate from the Father. He’s the dream giver. Read Psalms 27:4.
