Cs: Na letišti Václava Havla bylo rušno.
En: At Václava Havla Airport, it was bustling.

Cs: Lidé se pohybovali z místa na místo s kufry v rukou.
En: People were moving from place to place with luggage in their hands.

Cs: V terminálu bylo slyšet zvuky mluvících hlasů, ruch koleček kufrů a občasný zvuk rozhlasu, který ohlašoval zpoždění letů.
En: In the terminal, you could hear the sounds of talking voices, the noise of suitcase wheels, and the occasional sound of intercom announcements announcing flight delays.

Cs: Jakub seděl na lavičce v jednom z klidnějších koutů letiště.
En: Jakub sat on a bench in one of the quieter corners of the airport.

Cs: Měl na sobě tmavý oblek a v rukou držel mobilní telefon.
En: He was wearing a dark suit and holding a mobile phone in his hands.

Cs: Nepsal, jen se díval, jak na obrazovce blikají zprávy o dalším zpoždění jeho letu.
En: He wasn't typing, just watching as the messages about another delay in his flight flashed on the screen.

Cs: Vzdychl.
En: He sighed.

Cs: Už měl dost schůzek, práce, konferencí.
En: He'd had enough meetings, work, conferences.

En: She had long brown hair and a large backpack, which she placed on the ground next to the chair.

Cs: Eva byla unavená po dlouhém letu z ciziny.
En: Eva was tired after a long flight from abroad.

Cs: Pracovala na projektu, fotila krásy dalekých míst.
En: She was working on a project, photographing the beauties of distant places.

Cs: Přestože milovala svou práci, často uvažovala o tom, že ji něco chybí.
En: Although she loved her job, she often thought something was missing.

Cs: Vztahy byly pro ni složité.
En: Relationships were complicated for her.

Cs: Nerada se vázala.
En: She didn't like to commit.

Cs: Přesto teď, tady, cítila potřebu sdílet svůj čas s někým jiným.
En: Yet now, here, she felt the need to share her time with someone else.

Cs: Jakub se podíval na ženu vedle sebe a usmál se.
En: Jakub looked at the woman beside him and smiled.

Cs: "Dobrý den," řekl.
En: "Hello," he said.

Cs: "Čekáte také na zpožděný let?
En: "Are you also waiting for a delayed flight?"

Cs: "Eva se usmála zpět.
En: Eva smiled back.

Cs: "Ano.
En: "Yes.

Cs: Lety jsou dnes opravdu nevypočitatelné.
En: Flights are really unpredictable today.

Cs: Jsem Eva.
En: I'm Eva.

Cs: Jsem fotografka.
En: I'm a photographer."

Cs: ""Jakub," odpověděl.
En: "Jakub," he replied.

Cs: "Marketingový pracovník.
En: "Marketing worker.

Cs: Co fotíte?
En: What do you photograph?"

Cs: ""Všechno zajímavé.
En: "Anything interesting.

Cs: Lidé, místa, příběhy.
En: People, places, stories...

Cs: ráda objevuji nové světy," odpověděla Eva s jiskrou v očích.
En: I love discovering new worlds," replied Eva with a sparkle in her eyes.

Cs: Jakubovi se to líbilo.
En: Jakub liked that.

Cs: Ta jiskra, to nadšení pro život.
En: That sparkle, that enthusiasm for life.

Cs: Čas ubíhal, ale letadla neodletěla.
En: Time passed, but the planes didn't depart.

Cs: Povídali si o všem možném, od práce, přes cestování až po své sny a obavy.
En: They talked about everything possible, from work to travel, to their dreams and fears.

Cs: Jakub cítil, že mu tahle konverzace přináší něco nového, něco osvěžujícího.
En: Jakub felt that this conversation brought him something new, something refreshing.

Cs: "Možná bychom mohli spolu prozkoumat město," navrhl Jakub.
En: "Perhaps we could explore the city together," suggested Jakub.

Cs: "Co říkáte?
En: "What do you say?

Cs: Prostě se tak projít, mluvit, vidět něco nového.
En: Just take a walk, talk, see something new."

Cs: "Eva zaváhala.
En: Eva hesitated.

Cs: Měla ráda vlastní svobodu, ale cítila, že možná je to správné rozhodnutí.
En: She liked her own freedom, but she felt that perhaps it was the right decision.

Cs: "Dobře," souhlasila nakonec, "ale jenom dnes.
En: "Alright," she finally agreed, "but just today.

Cs: Zítra už musím dál.
En: Tomorrow I have to move on."

Cs: "Společně opustili letiště a vrátili se zpět do jeho ruchu jen krátce procházkou po městě.
En: Together, they left the airport and returned to its hustle briefly with a stroll through the city.

Cs: Jakmile se suché klobásky a voňavý trdelník staly součástí jejich cesty, smáli se a zapomněli na čas.
En: As dry sausages and fragrant trdelník became part of their journey, they laughed and lost track of time.

Cs: Na chvíli se svět točil kolem nich dvou.
En: For a moment, the world revolved around the two of them.

Cs: Nakonec se ale museli vrátit na letiště.
En: Eventually, though, they had to return to the airport.

Cs: Jejich lety byly připravené k odletu.
En: Their flights were ready to depart.

Cs: Výměna čísla byla rychlá, ale upřímná.
En: The exchange of numbers was quick but sincere.

Cs: Slíbili si, že se znovu uvidí.
En: They promised each other they would meet again.

Cs: Jakub se vrátil do světa práce s novým pohledem na věc.
En: Jakub returned to the working world with a new perspective.

Cs: Eva přemýšlela o tom, že možná, jen možná, by mohla s někým sdílet své zážitky.
En: Eva thought about how maybe, just maybe, she could share her experiences with someone.

Cs: Bylo jaro a všechno se zdálo možné.
En: It was spring, and everything seemed possible.
