Why do we make such a big deal about Mother’s Day? Because a mother’s love is a really big deal. All of us need more of it and to try harder to love like a mom.

Here I read the Holy Gospel According to St. John, 21:1-19, where Jesus appears for the 3rd time to the apostles after his death. Remember that Peter had denied Jesus 3 times, & that Peter will, himself, be crucified upside down for his love/support for Jesus & his lambs. The powerful message is about commitment.
