Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Phillipians 4:6

Working is apart of everyday life. We pretty much can't go a day without doing some kind of work. It's a good healthy thing! However, it's not wise to get in the way of the Lord's work or His will.

God in His infinite wisdom needs no assistance! When it comes to what he is going to do in your life I'm encouraging you to do absolutely NOTHING. It's challenging but trust me, faith & patience is all you need.

I have so much more to say on this. I pray it blesses you 🙏🏽

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?   Mark 8:36

Money is considered the ultimate reward on this earth. We center our whole lives around it. However, we should centered our lives on Heaven instead. There is no greater reward than that. A place where is there is no sorrow, or pain or death.

The way you live your life on this earth determines what eternal reward you will get so are you carefully evaluating that? I hope after you listen to this episode you will!

ABOUT THE GUEST

The Tide Director Don Shank was born to missionary parents in what was then known as Rhodesia, and prior to joining The Tide in 2001 served as a missionary teaching at a Bible School in Zimbabwe, Africa. In addition to lecturing in the classroom at Ekuphileni Bible Institute Don served as Academic Dean, Director of Student Ministries, and also developed and implemented a manual skills training program to enable rural pastors to minister bi-vocationally. Through twenty eight years living in Zimbabwe, and numerous visits to Africa, Eastern Europe and India as a ministry administrator and resource person for church conferences and leadership training events, Don has acquired a wealth of international, cross cultural ministry experience. As the world becomes more and more of a global village, Don's greatest passion is to reach people for Jesus Christ and to bring them into the Church.

But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for manlooketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.               I Samuel 16:7

Everything is not what appears to be. That is why we must lean on the Holy Spirit for guidance and discernment. You think being backstage is just a natural thing huh? Well...think again! There are plenty of things that happen behind the scenes spiritually that we may not pay attention to.

While other people desire to do things in the lime light to be seen by men, we are encouraged by God's word to be in the background. But why??  Trust me, after this episode you will want to hang out behind the scenes a little more often!

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I John 4:1

In learning the Christian walk it's very possible we may run into something that doesn't seem right. But let me encourage you not to walk away but to study and read God's word for yourself. That is the only way to not be deceived by the wolves in sheep's clothing.

I dive deeper into certain ungodly activity that you need to look out for! I hope this episode helps and encourages you.
