Why do we resist change? Why do we fear transitions, slowing down, speeding up? Why must we remain at peace with the ever changing realities that govern life?  

This is my reflection on what I contemplated in the span of the last several weeks. Election in America, looming civil war in Ethiopia, my personal and familial needs and limitations which demand a slower pace....I fought and resisted it all.
