changed lives today

This is the conclusion of "The Pursuit of God" based on the book by A.W. Tozer. We will talk about what is the essence our pursuit of God. How we can have a deep personal relationship with God. We learn the Christianity is not about religion but about a "Relationship" and that is what God wants with us. Is it not exciting to think that we can have a deep intimate relationship with God, that He is not a distant God but One that knows our every thought, knows each intricate part of our lives and yet wants to have a relationship with us.

"Do ALL to the glory of God" I Corinthians 10:31. Following on with A.W. Tozer's book: The Pursuit of God, we learn that God wants us to do anything and everything for His glory. Tozer shows that we often make the mistake of making the sacred secular and need to make the secular sacred. You work at a fast food resturant, God is with you there and you need to glorify God with every thing you do while at that job. Not only that, you should feel His presence with you at that job. This applies to everyday for the rest of our lives.

A.W. Tozer will show us how God is Meek and you can find Rest in Him. Meekness denotes: gentleness and mildness. It also implies strength under control. We do not have to worry about what others do to us or say to us. God loves us and says to love our enemies and forgive them as He has done with us. We can rest in God and His love. He also is our avenger of our enemies and He will protect us and make all things right. We need to surrender all to God and for Him to live through us. This way we will not have to worry about pretense and pride.
