Changeless

A dramatic Jeopardy upset and Job’s life of loss are paired to show that true victory comes from answering one essential question about hope beyond suffering and death. The message highlights a living kinsman redeemer—Jesus—as the source of redemption, restoration, and lasting faith.

On our journey through the Bible, we come upon the book of Job. Job was a man who had everything and then lost everything. His friends came to comfort him, but after a good start, they failed miserably. What can we learn about grief and how to comfort someone going through it from this difficult book?

From childhood road trips and Where’s Waldo to Noah’s Ark, this message invites listeners to look closer and discover Jesus hidden in plain sight throughout Scripture. The flood story reveals Christ as the Door, the Water, and the Mountain—the only way to salvation, the One who washes us clean, and the curse-reverser who gives new beginnings.

Do the first few chapters of Genesis really matter? Not only do they matter; they are foundational to the rest of the Bible and to how we look at the world around us! Grab your Bible and join us as we begin our two year sermon series "cover to cover" and turn to the very beginning, the book of Genesis.
